AI in everyday work
A proposed workshop on writing, summarising and organising with AI, followed by evaluation on appropriate examples.
View the programmeYou hear about AI but want to understand what these tools could actually bring to your work. This proposed workshop starts with approachable situations: asking for an explanation, drafting text or organising ideas. The aim is to build shared understanding and recognise use cases worth testing in your environment.
We propose starting with how an assistant works in general: it produces an answer from a request and available context. A demonstration distinguishes convincing wording from verified information. Participants can compare their expectations against simple situations without needing the details of model development.
Exercises focus on easy-to-review tasks: explaining a topic, preparing an outline or rephrasing a fictional message. We vary context, constraints and requested format to observe their effects. Participants also practise asking for clarification and correcting the direction when the first result does not fit.
An answer is reviewed against its intended use: can facts be checked, is the tone appropriate, is information missing? We discuss when a source, human approval or another tool remains necessary. Discovery examples avoid requiring personal or confidential information.
The final part selects a recurring, limited task. Participants identify what they want to improve, who can judge the result and what information to prepare. This supports exploration with an observable objective rather than collecting tools without a clear purpose.
Tell us how familiar the group is with AI, its frequent questions and two or three situations you would like to understand. Fictional or generic examples are enough. The programme can then be adjusted to participants’ vocabulary and context.
Next steps might include an individual trial, a workshop on everyday tasks or discussion of a specific business need. Any materials and follow-up arrangements are defined in the agreed scope.
No. This workshop is designed as an introduction. The initial discussion establishes the group’s experience so examples, pace and time for questions can be adapted.
Tools and access conditions are chosen during preparation. Please wait for those instructions before creating an account or subscribing. The format can include commented demonstrations and exercises according to the group’s circumstances.
